Under the cute vanilla buttercream Christmas tree, you’ll find a gift – the gift of an intensely rich, dark chocolate cupcake with the perfect crumb and fluffy soft sponge. I’ve develoiped this rich, chocolate cake to pair perfectly with the buttercream, by reducing the sugar content and a hint of added coffee to enhance the overall flavour. The buttercream recipe is designed to add sweetness but not overpower the whole cupcake experience.

These cupcakes are the perfect accompaniment to your festive table setting, a magical way of greeting your guests or a merry way to end any meal! Pure delicious joy!

Storage: Can be stored at room-temperature for up to 3 days, fridged for up to 1 week or frozen up to 1 month. If you plan to chill/ freeze the cupcake with buttercream, please make sure the cake and buttercream come to room-temperature before serving, as it is always best served room-temperature.
